![]() This activity relates to NHS’ purpose of service as I serve the elders. I feel joy in giving out to the elders. This also shows leadership as I organize the most important game of the day, BINGO. I assist the senior citizens in putting the chips on the card in case they are too late to put it.I learnt that these senior citizens have a lot of experiences to share, and I gain wisdom from interacting with them. A quote about this service is “All my time not devoted to my master's service was spent either in prayer, or in making experiments in casting different things in moulds made of earth, in attempting to make paper, gunpowder, and many other experiments, that, although I could not perfect, yet convinced me of its practicability if I had the means. During BINGO, I often assist the senior citizens into the right place in the cards because this increases the probability of getting a BINGO for them. The first BINGO winners get candys at the end of the day/ This is an incentive for them to do well during the games. I do this activity every Friday from 3pm to pm.I thought this activity was life changing for me because this activity helped me influence my interest in Artificial Intelligence. Many of these seniors suffer from social isolation, and I believe machine learning and artificial intelligence could be used to program human like robots to rid the problem of social isolation.I believe I am capable of serving the elders. I also have ideas to serve the young, especially in tutoring.
