![]() Volunteering and helping during the graduation progress correlates well with the purpose of NHS. One such credential is that it promotes the enthusiasm for scholarship and leadership. Being able to see all your fellow friends and acquaintances and see all their accomplishments as well as their dedication to service is inspiring. This can also lead to seeing role models and aspiring to be like them in the advancement of service. From this project I was able to learn that even the smallest pieces of service can make big impacts. If more individuals were to volunteer, they would gain such revelations and this would make the world a more inspirational, altruistic environment.“There is no higher religion than human service. To work for the common good is the greatest creed.” Woodrow Wilson. The activity I did was help hand out pamphlets and fliers during the 2016 graduation. This was done at the end of the year last year in the month of May. The activity wasn’t entirely heartwarming or insightful, it was mainly laborious. However, being able to see the graduating class, as well as other friends in the senior class was great and being able to see a lot of familiar faces while doing service was also quite a treat.
