what does nhs do?NHS does a lot to serve Hillcrest High School and its surrounding community. Students put on activities at a local assisted living center. They tutor other Hillcrest students before and after school. NHS also helps during the school Christmas fundraiser and teacher appreciation week.
NHS students also earn service hours by participating in service that is meaningful to them personally. Members have volunteered at the hospital, humane society, and some even share their talents as volunteer sports coaches or language teachers. |
How do i get in? how do i stay in?Go to the "Registration" page and follow the instructions there.
To stay in NHS as a member in good standing, you must maintain the required 3.5 GPA, follow through with your tutoring and service commitments, be honorable (no falsifying service hours), show responsibility and turn in your forms and other documentation on time. |
